MyMoney AI Financial Education Assistant
MyMoney AI is an optional educational assistant designed to explain calculator outputs, assumptions, tradeoffs, and possible research questions in clearer language.
It does not have complete knowledge of a user's finances and does not provide regulated financial, tax, legal, investment, credit-repair, or lending services.
The public calculators and guides work without the assistant, so readers can verify the underlying assumptions and educational material independently before choosing an optional AI feature.
What it can help explain
The assistant can restate a calculator result, compare user-provided scenarios, identify which input changed the outcome, and suggest records or questions to verify before a decision.
Useful prompts include asking why total interest changed, how a stress case affects cash flow, which assumption creates the most uncertainty, or what information a lender or professional may request.
What it cannot determine
An AI response cannot guarantee approval, predict a credit-score change, verify a contract, determine a tax filing position, select an investment, or know whether a general strategy is suitable for a specific person.
Responses may be incomplete or wrong. Important facts should be checked against current primary sources, actual contracts, account records, and appropriately qualified professionals.
Data and responsible use
Do not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, full account numbers, payment-card data, credit reports, tax returns, medical records, or other sensitive documents. Use rounded or hypothetical figures when a precise identifier is unnecessary.
The assistant should be treated as an educational starting point. The user remains responsible for verifying information and making decisions.
